Short information about TCCEPExE

By the order of Ministerial council of USSR from 17.08.59 ¹ 962 all-Union Research Institute of Explosion protected and Mining Electrical equipment, which included Testing Certification Centre of Explosion protected Electrical Equipment (TCCExEE), was ordered to carry out tests of explosion protected electrical equipment. By the united order of Gosstandart and Minelectrotechprom of USSR from 29.07.80 ¹ 260/343 TCCExEE was assigned as the main organisation for government testing of exlosion protected electrical equipment. TCCExEE was accredited by Gosstandart of USSR in 1987 (4-th of may) (certificate of accreditation ¹ 002) as a testing organisation having rights to carry out certification tests, and since 1987 (29-th of December) it have rights  to carry out certification tests in the system of an estimation of quality and certification of reciprocal production deliveries SEPROSEV. TCCExEE was accredited by Gosstandart of Russia in 1995 (4-th of June) in the system GOST Ð(certificate ¹ ÐÎÑÑ èÀ.0001.21ÃÁ02), and in 1993 by Gosstandart of Ukraine in the system UkrSEPRO as a technically competent and independent laboratory. Three years later the certificate of secondary accreditation ¹ UÀ6.001.Í.031 from 5-th of June 1996 and certificate of certification body (¹ UÀ4.001.064 from 15 of November 1996) was given to TCCExEE. The results of TCCExEE activity are admitted by supervision bodies of Russia, Baltic countries, Moldova, Byelorussia, Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.

During existence of TCCExEE more then 4000 products were tested, approximately 2000 certificates of explosion protected equipment were given for production of ex-USSR factories, and approximately 500 certificates for production of foreign companies. TCCExEE was the main developer of the whole complex of the normative - engineering specifications in the area of explosion protection of electrical equipment, used up to the present moment by the CIS countries .

14 books, more then 700 articles and reports on actual questions of explosion protection were issued by the main employees of TCCExEE. They cooperate with the main foreign testing organisations: ÐÒÂ, BVS , LCIE, FM and they are members of IEC workgroups.
